石油王ロックフェラーひ孫、自家用機で墜落死



石油事業で大財閥を築いたジョン・Ｄ・ロックフェラーのひ孫で医師のリチャード・ロックフェラー氏（６５）の操縦する自家用飛行機が１３日、ニューヨーク市郊外で離陸直後に墜落し、同氏が死亡した。



同乗者はいなかった。飛行場周辺は当時、霧が出ていた。ロックフェラー家の広報担当者によると、リチャード氏は豊富な飛行経験があったという。



リチャード氏は前日に父親で元銀行家のデービッド・ロックフェラー氏の９９歳の誕生日を祝い、米北東部メイン州の自宅に帰る途上だった。
