2014年6月13日、韓国紙・東亜日報によると、ガソリンスタンドでの偽ガソリンや偽軽油の販売が問題になっている韓国で、 7月1日から「石油製品取引規模毎週報告制度」を実施するとした政府とガソリンスタンド協会との対立が深刻な状況にある。環球時報（電子版）が伝えた。



韓国ガソリンスタンド協会は「毎週報告制度」の導入に反対し、今月12日に全国のガソリンスタンド3000カ所以上を一時休業すると発表したが、12日には実施日を24日に変更した。同協会は当初 「毎週報告制度」の撤廃を求めていたが、実施を2年後に先延ばしすることで譲歩の姿勢を示している。



韓国石油公社のデータによると、今年4月末までに検挙されたガソリンスタンドは118カ所で、そのうちの70．33％が偽ガソリンを販売 していた。
